How can aboriginal Australian patterns and mark making techniques lead the viewer through a piece?
Full Process Statement
After initial planning sketches are imported to inkscape I created an icon to represent the wallet itself then used the pen tool to create adjustable paths representing blockchains accessible by the wallet (the wiggly white shapes in the image). Paths are vectors that can be moved and adjusted to maintain consistency within the negative space of the image
The gray frame provides a visual indicator of a wallets range or ability to communicate with applicable block chains. The frame is added as a shape with no fill and blockchain paths are cut and separated into layers to allow for interaction between frame and paths.
Red paths and implied lines (dots) are added as a visual balancing element. They are breaking the frame to represent the transfer of currencies out of assessable wallet space via exchanges
